My family's love of baseball:
Having 3 kids, it was fate that at least one would fall in love with the sport of baseball.  That would be my son, Brendan.  When Brendan wanted to start playing baseball, it was at the very beginning level of T-ball.  I was divorced from his father, so I took that leading roll and became the coach - yup, I sure did.  Growing up in Upstate New York, my family loves the New York Yankees, so having a son, this obviously was going to be an easy teaching.   We have gone from T-ball, to Fall Ball to Minors to playing in college - baseball is a great sport, a family sport, a sport that has made a bond between my son and I.

Unfortunately, my son has developed a cracked spine, so his days of playing baseball are over, though he has taken on the responsibility of coaching - which still is sharing his love of baseball to others.  He has taken his love of baseball and his learnings to teach other young kids.  How can you not love baseball - it is like apples to apple pie - a wonderful sport!
