The Deli Warehouse

One of the places I love to shop at is The Deli Warehouse. This is somewhere I plan to go weekly, as the prices fluctuate up and down, though I like when they are down.

The best time to go is late Saturday, this is when prices on certain items may drop just to sell them.

Well, I stopped today and was very surprised at how high the prices have gotten. I previously purchased ground beef as it was only $1.49 or on days when they had too much to sell, I got it for .99 a pound. Well, today it is $2.49, not for me thank you very much!

I will say their boneless chicken breast are the biggest I have ever seen and very good. We definately buy this. They sell this is bags of 5 or 10 lb bags. I bring home, get my knife and cutting board ready, together with bags or tupperware containers. I trim all the fat as my husband doesn't like fat on the chicken, thank I package in bags if to freeze or containers for the week if I will be using.

Their produce is hit or miss also.

Today I was able to purchase 1/2 lb of bologna, 5 oranges, 1 pineapple, pack of scallions and 2 pizza doughs for $8.00. Not bad as I am making 2 pizzas, lunch for my daughter Kylie for a few days and fruit to snack on.

Check out The Deli Warehouse. They are located on Fuller Road in Colonie, New York. Directly across the street from The Party Warehouse.

Happy Savings!
Tracy
