Plato's Closet

Have you ever heard of Plato's Closet before? Well, I have and I can finally say I actually shopped there! I signed up for their email to receive sale alerts and I received one that was quite intrigging. All clearance items, $1.00 - hmmmmm, I know I can find something for $1.00. Well, I went over and very glad I did.

There are TONS of racks of variety of clothes, and very well organized for that matter. Everything is labeled and clearly visible on the products and on the racks.

I purchased 3 sun dress (yes, I am thinking Summer already), and 2 pair of dress sandals, all for a total of $5.40. That is 3 COMPLETE outfits! I brought home and washed the clothes, and put away with my Summer clothes. I am very excited for this great find.

They also buy gently used brand name clothing and acccessories for teens & young adults. Cash on the spot,no waiting in line, no waiting for a check to clear, cash! Need gas in your car and have some clothes lying around the house, bring them to Plato's Closet. The best thing also is, whatever clothes they do not buy from you, they donate locally. So you can make money AND help someone out locally.

Plato's is located at 90 W Campbell Road in Schenectady (688-0514) and 818 Central Avenue, Albany (459-3104). Store Hours are Monday - Saturday 10-8, Sunday 12-6.
