Having a family of 5, can you imagine how many batteries we go through a year? A ton I can tell you. I used to have a plastic bin inside my closet to hold all the different sizes of batteries, as with toys, remotes, lamps, there was always a need. This to me was a waste of money, though who I am I to complain to? Batteries are a necessity, especially when I use the items that run from them.

Thanks to Energizer, they have created a Energizer Recharge Smart Charger. It not only recharges the batteries, (so you only have to pay for the batteries once, as you can reuse them - (savings in my pocket)), but it provides a countdown to know when your batteries are charged. Now, after receiving our latest National Grid electric bill, I need all the help I can get, so with Energizer making a “Smart” charger, this to me is a no brainer purchase. Instead of having the basic charger plugged in, using power that was not necessary, and costing me more, this charger does the complete opposite - it tells me when the batteries are ready and how much longer I have until the charge is complete. That to me is awesome marketing and a very smart purchase!

I have the basic charger, though I am looking forward to getting the Energizer Recharger Smart Charger and can’t wait for it to help my family save in the long run.

Disclosure:  The opinions written in this post are the sole beliefs of my own.  Take em or leave em.  I am participating in writing a post on my blog for a chance to win a Energizer Recharge Smart Charger.  In no way, did this contest entice me to right a favorable post.  I am very excited in learning and receiving an Energizer Recharge Smart Charger to help defray costs with purchases of batteries for my family.
