Mother’s Day Facebook Contest Awards Moms with Color Makeover
Chicago, IL – April 26, 2011 – Valspar believes that color has the strength to brighten spirits and enliven a room, and because no one is more deserving of the power in color than our moms, Valspar is launching a Mother’s Day Facebook contest called Connect Mom to the Power in Color. The contest offers Valspar Facebook fans a chance to win free Valspar paint for their moms. The contest begins on Tuesday, April 26, at 12 noon EST and runs until Tuesday, May 3, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Facebook members may participate in the contest by simply clicking “like” on the Valspar Facebook page and telling them in 300 words or less why their mom deserves to experience the transformative power in color from Valspar. Winners will receive a certificate to give to their mothers, who may redeem it for two free gallons of paint to makeover their favorite room.
“There is no better present than a gift that can transform and bring happiness, and a Valspar color makeover can do just that,” says Valspar color expert, Sue Kim. “The Connect Mom to the Power in Color contest is a great way to invite color into your home this spring and freshen up any room. Plus, painting is a fun project to do together with your mom!”
Valspar Paint will select 10 lucky winners, each of whom will be connected to a Valspar Customer Service representative for personal assistance with ordering two free gallons of Valspar’s best-quality paint from a selection of thousands of colors, which will be shipped directly to their mom’s home. I would LOVE to win this. If you want to get me something and knowing that Bren, you are in college and have no money, and Ky & Em, you both are too young to work, this is the perfect gift to get me for Mother's Day. Then, if I do win, I can paint my bedroom, which is way overdue for a paint makeover!!!
