CRYSTAL DEODORANT {Review}

I don't know about you, but I have been through my fair share of deodorants. It seems I will use one and after a few months, it doesn't work anymore and doesn't keep me dry. There are the deodorants that say they go on clear and won't get any white residue on your clothes - wrong! So, when I was given the opportunity to try a new deodorant, I was happy, though to be quite honest, I was a little skeptical of Crystal Body Deodorant as I have always used solid deodorant and this was liquid roll-on. I have tried liquid roll-on deodorant before and it was icky and sticky and I didn't like it at all.


After using this deodorant, I like it. Yes, when it went on it was wet and cold, though it dried within seconds and wasn't sticky and lasted all day. It had a deodorizing smell that was aromatic (lavender) and left me dry and non-smelly all day (basically, to put it in laymans terms - it lasted all day). And, there was no white residue on my clothes! Sha-wing!

If I was not given the opportunity to try this product, I would never even think to purchase it for two main reasons: 1) I have never heard of it, and 2) I did not have a coupon for it. CVS - Internet Coupons not accepted....

Well, apparently someone is ruining it for the rest of us!

I went to my local CVS store today (Wolf Road in Colonie), to pick up my daughter's prescription, and of course while it was being filled, I browsed the isles and found something that would be next to free with a coupon.  The pharmacist called our name and we went to pick up the prescription and ring out the deodorant I had picked up.  The total came and I handed her my coupon - it was an Internet Coupon, a valid one, I had printed off of coupons.com.  The cashier asked if it was an internet coupon and I replied, yes it was.  She indicated that they no longer are allowed to accept internet coupons as they are fraudulent.  I was in shock!  So, to put it in frank, someone took advantage of some type of coupon and now all of us are suffering from it.

I am not sure if this is for all CVS stores, but just to let you know so you don't make a special trip there to have your internet coupons turned down.

Please let me know if other CVS stores are doing the same thing.  I am assuming it is national and not just per store, but I could be wrong.

CVS clearance

I stopped by CVS on Wolf Road in Colonie, New York yesterday to pick up my son's prescriptions to find a few shelves with 75% off items.  Some of the items are as follows:

• Glass Scale (We have never owned a scale, though for a price of $2.49, I picked on up.)
• Small Rotisserie Cooker ($7.50) (Bought this too - can't wait to try it.  It says you can cook anything in it, though in smaller portions.)
• Large Remote Control
• Wii game controllers
• Hair clipper set ($2.49) (bought this too as I cut my husband's hair.  I have a very expensive hair clipper set, but this one seems to get close to his head.)
• Mirror (apparently this is a mirror that is supposed to see everything on your face.)  I was kinda scared to get this one - lol.)
• Large button telephone

Those were the items I remember.  You may want to call your local CVS store first to see if in fact they are having a close-out sale on items marked down to 75% off, and if so, what items they have left. 

The pharmacist was telling me they had large size crockpots and automatic coffee makers marked down to $5.00, though they were sold out of those.
