SCORE!!! Price Chopper Shopping Trip

I took advantage of the $5 off 10 Price Chopper corporate products coupon this evening and did some stock-piling as my cabinets were getting low on some items.  The following is a picture of Price Chopper brand items I purchased using the $5 off 10 item coupons.  I tried to purchase products that I needed though would cost the less to me out of pocket.  Please excuse the quality of the photo as I took it with my husband's phone (it is much easier to upload than using my Nikon camera (which I love), and waiting for it to go through all of my pictures just to get to the last one).  Here is the pic:

As you can see, I purchased 20 Brown Gravy mixes; 6 can of cream corn, 10 cans of whole kernel corn, 10 cans tomato paste, 5 boxes soup mix, 5 cans cream of chicken soup, 10 cans carrots, and 4 cans mixed vegetables.  Total for everything (drum roll please) $4.(+ change) - hello, this is definitely savings in my pocket and now I have a half-full pantry.  I still need to get more items to have a full stock pile, i.e., chicken stock, diced tomatoes, etc.  I can't wait till tomorrow!  (These were done in separate purchases.)

WOW - what an awesome coupon.  It is Sunday and you know what that means, Price Chopper Facebook coupons have been reset - wah hoo - and it's a good one to bat!  (Have I said how awesome this coupon is? lol)

You can get many items for cheap with this coupons.  One that I know of is for the purchase of Price Chopper yogurt?  If you eat Price Chopper yogurt, this coupon is a money saver.  Buy 10 Price Chopper Yogurts at .59 and you only will end up paying $1.00 - now that is savings....  Thanks Price Chopper for this AWESOME coupon.

For those of you who are coffee lovers, I have a great deal for you coming this week (tomorrow to be exact!)

SCORE! Scotch Tape and Sensodyne Toothpaste....

Thank goodness for coupons, and moreso PDF file coupons!  Woo hoo.....

I always carry my coupon file in my car, no matter what store I go into, if I see something that is clearanced price, I always scoot out to my car to see if I have a coupon for it.  I hit the jackpot at Walgreens yesterday.  I stopped at my local Walgreens at lunch time yesterday to do my daily "lunch shopping", and low and behold on their clearance rack they had Scotch donut dispensers priced at .49¢ each.  Coupled with this Scotch Donut Tape Dispenser .50 coupon this made them FREE!!!  AND, they also had Scotch desk dispensers for .99¢,, coupled with this Scotch Desk Dispenser.75 coupon, making each dispenser only .25¢.  Here are pictures of my finds (don't ask what I am going to do with all of this tape, but I can tell you something, I won't run out for Christmas presents this year!)  (FYI - I did leave plenty for the next person.)

I also found Sensodyne Toothpaste for Children clearanced price at $1.09.  Coupled with this .75 Sensodyne Coupon, this made for inexpensive toothpaste (.34¢ each to be exact).

Old Navy: $2 Layering Camis (7/29 - 7/31 only)

I love Layering Camis, whether worn in summer time or winter time, it is a staple item in my wardrobe.

Old Navy has their Layering Camis on sale at a wonderful savings of just $2.  WOW.  I am hoping by the time I get over to Old Navy, they will have decent colors in the sizes I need.  Normally (or shall I say, just my luck), they would have a bright yellow left in an XS or XL - neither being my size, or color!

This sale is good 7/29 - 7/31 ONLY, so hurry on over.  Either grab this coupon and bring with you to Old Navy or when you get to Old Navy, make sure you tell the cashier "CAMI 4 ME" and they will ring it up at $2 each.  Limit 5 per customer.

Kohl's $5.00 Coupons = Savings!

I am a HUGE proponent of coupons - whether it be for a grocery store, sporting goods store, clothing store, etc., you name it, I will have a coupon for it!


Kohl's provides a $5.00 coupon when you sign up for their updates via a valid email address. This is a huge savings! $5.00 of free money just for providing your email address. Now, remember in previous posts I mentioned that I have a separate email address for accounts such as these. You can also set up a FREE account with numerous providers such as Gmail, AOL, Yahoo, just to name a few.

The following picture are products that I purchased at Kohl’s with my $5.00 off coupons. I used a $5.00 coupon for each item (separate purchases) to minimize the income coming out of my pocket. FYI - some cashiers will do this, others will not. (The items purchased were a shower curtain, floral rug, 1 floral bath towel, 2 striped bath towels, 2 striped hand towels.)

The total cost paid for everything pictured was $18.94, total savings (ready for this - drumroll please) $137.39 (that is a savings of $118.45). Now, I just need to go to the paint store and pick up a quart of one of the colors in the decor and paint a wall or half wall or something in my bathroom to coordinate everything. How exciting! Or, if I choose not to use the decor, this would be a great, and inexpensive, gift to give someone for a housewarming gift (just have to hope that it is their style).

Did you also know you can purchase Kohl’s $5.00 coupons off of ebay? Since I have exhausted all of my email addresses, this is how I obtain savings for future purchases. They usually go on sale for .99¢ for 20 coupons (yes, 20 $5.00 off coupons all with different valid email addresses). Remember to log in to your e-bay account and don’t bid until seconds before the deadline, that’s when you bid, then you have to confirm your bid and hopefully your the highest bidder! Good luck!
