Look what arrived in the package and what my friends will be taking home:
Don't you want to be my friend and come to this party??? This is just a sampling of what was in the box. SHE SPEAKS and OWN: Oprah's Search for the Next OWN Star
Oprah Winfrey is an amazing and talented woman, who has struggled to become the woman that she is today. A woman who has given back to so many, and now has developed her OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) network. I have to admit while scanning the channels on my remote the other day, I happened to come across channel 43, OWN, and watched Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes (an inside look of the making of the farewell season of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" which premiered this past Saturday, January 1st at 8/7c. It was the "behind the scenes" taping of the episode with the Judds. It was an interesting show. I enjoyed watching not only clips of what everyone saw on the regular network show, but also behind the scenes too of how they put the show together.
There is another show, "Ask Oprah's All Stars" which features Suze Orman, Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz answering your questions. Series Premiere Sunday, January 2nd 8/7c.
Through my membership with SheSpeaks, I was given the opportunity to review a clip of the newest upcoming show to begin on OWN premiering, Friday, January 7th 9/8c. This show is entitled "Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next OWN Star". Over thousands applied and 10 were chosen. This concept is awesome. Oprah is giving someone, just a regular Joe Shmo like you and I, the opportunity of a lifetime. To compete wtih 9 other people like them, to win their own show on OWN. How amazing is it?
I watched the first show and can't wait to see the second and so on. I already, in my mind, have chosen a winner, or at least someone I would enjoy watching on tv, so I will have to continue to watch every Friday at 9:00 EST to see if my person makes it to the end. The prize is amazing.
So, if you are not doing anything this coming Friday, or even if you are, DVR your television to OWN, channel 43 where I live, at 9/8c, and check out Oprah's newest show.
Disclosure: Through my membership with SheSpeaks, I was chosen to view a clip of an upcoming show indicated above for my opinion only through OWNSM. I was not compensated in any way. My opinions are my own and 100% true.

She Speaks - Oral-B Professional Care 1000
As previously mentioned, I am a member of a fabulous online discussion group called She Speaks. To be a member, simply visit their website, www.shespeaks.com as it is free to join and the perks of membership are simply amazing. You are able to try products and in doing this, you must give your feedback. A few minutes of your time answering some questions to try products and receive valuable coupons to either use yourself, or forward to family/friends to use.
This past month, I received a fabulous, brand new Oral-B Professional Care 1000 electric toothbrush. At first I was a bit skeptical because I have had one before and honestly didn't like it. I didn't feel like I was in control of the toothbrush. I know that sounds strange, but that is how I felt, PLUS the cost of upkeep for one. It is MUCH cheaper to buy non-electric toothbrushes.
I am so happy I gave this a try, and since it was free it was even better. I LOVED it! I loved it so much, I bought all 3 of my children and husband one for Christmas to put in their stockings. I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone who is looking for a good, reliable, rechargeable, toothbrush. I would rate this a 10!

SheSpeaks
There is a site which I have been a member of for quite sometime now. It is called SheSpeaks. It is a site where other Women/Mom's like myself can discuss products we have tried, it is also a site where you can periodically try products for FREE - yes free (my favorite word again), and the only criteria they expect from you is giving back your feedback. Something I thoroughly enjoy doing. Should you wish to join (membership to this site is FREE), go to http://www.shespeaks.com and follow the instructions of joining [LOGIN]. This is a site you definately do not want to miss out on. I have had the opportunity to receive the following products FREE:
1. Taste of Home magazine;
2. Ladies Home Journal magazine;
3. Sinupret for kids
4. Ghiradelli chocolate (yum);
5. Oral-B Stages toothbrushes (the kids got to enjoy these); and saving the best for last;
6. a Haagen-Dazs Five party! What am amazing time! I had a bunch of friends over and we were shipped (FREE) 7 containers of the new line of Haagen Dazs Five ice cream. Flavors like Chocolate, Mint, Ginger, Passion Fruit, , etc.... It was such a great time. I made assorted hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.) and served with the different varieties of ice cream. After each taste of ice cream we went around the round table and discussed our likes and dislikes. This is what SheSpeaks is about. Trying new products and being able to discuss your likes and dislikes. So far, I have to say everything has been a "like" for me. I hope you too will join me in discussions at SheSpeaks. Looking forward to hearing from you.
