Trident Vitality Gum {Review}

There is a new gum out there, well, ok, it has been out for a lil bit now, though if you haven't heard of it yet, you need to check it out.

It is called Trident Vitality and boy is it ah-may-zing!!!  This gum truly lasts for hours in flavor.  It doesn't loose that elacticity for chewing and is just down right good.  I previously purchased about 30+ packs of this gum (pictured above - yup, I bought all of them) and shared with my entire family.  They all loved it.  Gum is usually priced around $1.00 a pack, so when I get a pack of gum, I want the flavor to last.  I do not want my mouth to get tired of chewing as it becomes harder to chew.  Trident is the opposite of that - it truly is a great flavorful gum.

There are 3 flavors, Rejuve (White Tea), Vigorate (Vitamin C) and Awaken (Ginseng).  I love all 3, but if I had to choose, Rejuve is hands down my favorite.

My Review:
My body quenches thirst through water and lotion.  I go through lotion like it is going out of style.  It is a ritual I do every single day.  Whether it be once I get out of the shower for my entire body, or throughout the day, on my hands, especially after washing them. 

With this particular lotion, I figured I would try my face. As I grow older, yes, unfortunately, that is happening, I feel my skin has been absorbing any and all nutrients I give it and leaving it dry and rough feeling, until now.  For about 1 1/2 weeks I have been trying Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion on my face at night-time after I wash my face and in the morning, after I wash my face.  Not only does my face feel smooth to the touch, the dryness feeling has gone away.  I love this product.

Gourmet Chef 12 Piece Cookware Set (Trimmer) {Review}

As much as I shop, you would think I would own new pots and pans, wrong!  I have owned the same T-fal pot and pan set since I got married 10 years ago.  Holy smokes, that is a long time, ya think!

I was recently given the opportunity from CSN Stores to review one of their million of products.  Can you guess what I chose?  Kinda silly to ask, especially since it is pictured above.

I chose the Trimmer - SC-SS004 - Gourmet Chef 12 Piece Cookware Set with Blue Bakelite Handles and Knobs ($44.89).  I was kinda skeptical at first as I have only ever used T-fal pots and pans.  These are something my mother used (although back in the old days my mom used the pots and pans that had the copper on the bottom (boy, were they a pain to wash!).  I think these pans, like the copper pans from my younger days, put a thought in my mind that I would burn noodles or something.  However, I am here to report, no burning anything!!!  These pans are truly amazing.

On every pan, comes a lid.  A lid that actually fits! (lol).  A lid with a tiny hole on it to release steam while your cooking.  Every pan also comes with handles on both sides.

The pans are light in weight, though heavy in cooking - a 10 out of 10!  I would highly recommend these pans to anyone.

Python Printable Christmas Mega Games Pack {Review}

I love the holidays and everything about them. From outdoor decorations to indoor decorations, to baking cookies, to wrapping presents to activities. I received printable Python Printables Christmas Mega Pack to review and was in my glory. The various printable are amazing, there are over 70 to be exact, from Christmas games like Easy Christmas Trivia, Crazy Christmas Drawing Game, Funny Christmas Songs Mad Libs, Christmas Dinner Spot the Difference, to New Years printables of the same assortment. 

We celebrate Christmas Eve with my husband's family and Christmas day with my family.  In both families there are a lot of kids.  These games are going to be a huge hit for Christmas this year.  Not only will the kids have a blast, but the adults will too.

COMMUNITY {animated TV show review: 12/9 episode)

I love this time of year, all of the "animated" tv shows come to life.  These shows bring me back to my childhood and now I can enjoy them, old and new with my children.  Old animated shows like the original Frosty the Snowman to How the Grinch Stole Christmas to Shrek's Christmas, to now, "Community". 

There is a show on tv that I, unfortunately, have not watched yet, though for tonight and tonight only, they have made an animated show of it with top celebrities, i.e., Chevy Chase, Danny Pudi, etc.  The show is called "Community", and if the regular show is anything like the animated show, I definitely will be checking it out next week and weeks to come.

This show is about a boy named Abed who is searching for the meaning of Christmas.  Watching this show it made me think of what Christmas meant to me, really meant to me.  To me it is about being with my family and remembering memories and making new ones.  I love everything about Christmas.  What does Christmas mean to you???

You definitely need to check out this show tonight, at 8pm EST on NBC, and see if Abed found the meaning of Christmas and if so, what it meant to him.  This was a great episode, I really enjoyed and look forward to my family watching it with me tonight.

United States Trivia Game Pack {Review}

WOW, it really has been a long time since I was in school, or my knowledge of the United States is seriously lacking knowledge!

I reviewed the United States Trivia Pack of 50 games. Each state has its own set of trivia questions with the answers on a following sheet. To keep it easy at first, I printed New York, as that is where we live, and thinking we live here, we should know everything, right? WRONG!

Questions for New York are: When did the first U.S. pizzeria open in New York City? 1895 (had no clue).... How long was the first American railroad, between Albany and Schenectady? Answer in miles? (This should be easy since I live in Albany)... hmmmm. Eleven miles (HAD NO IDEA!!!)

Thereafte, I printed other states like Texas, Wyoming, Alaska, Connecticut, just to name a few and again, asked the questions first to myself (now, if I didn't know New York where I was born and raised, did you think I would possibly know other states?), than asking others. A few questions were answered correctly, but for the most part, we did not know the answers.

These are GREAT trivia questions and really get your mind going. Even if you do not live in that particular state, you may know the answer. It is knowledge that keeps the brain working and just think the next time there is a "trivia night", and a question arises about a particular state, you may know the answer!

SMELLY WASHER.com {Review}

In all my life, I never realized washing machines obtained a smell after all that washing.  I guess it is only natural to think that though, putting dirty items into a contained object to clean with soap and water - and to sit until we finally realize the load is done and we can remove those items from the washer to put into the dryer to finalize the process.  AND, how many times after that, do you (or shall I say I), close the door not allowing the washing machine to fully dry and then mildew sets in, or just the basic dingy smell.  You know the smell of a wet towel sitting for a while, yuck!!!  That could be your washing machine.

Until now, I never, in all honesty, realized my washing machine smelled - maybe it is because I was too quick at putting my clothes into the washer that I didn't smell the odor, or was it my clothes just really stunk?  Anyhoot - I received a product called Smelly Washer to try out and boy was I ever amazed.  At first, I was kinda skeptical as I figured ok, just another product out there they are trying to sell, though to give it a fair shot, I ran the test and guess what - it passed!!!

Smelly Washer is primarily for the washing machine.  To clean your washer, you take 1 level cap (1 tblsp.) Smelly Washer, add to the dispenser of your machine, allow it to agitate in its hottest setting for 2 minutes.  Stop the washer and allow to soak overnight.  In the morning complete the cycle.  If you have a really stinky machine, you may find that you may want to try this process a few times in order to really get the odor gone.  Just a teaspoon run through a "soak" cycle monthly will keep  your washer fresh.  Or, if you prefer, you can add 1 tbsp to a spray bottle mixed with hot water to clean around the rubber seal of the door of your washing machine.

If you have a mother like I do, she of course never, ever has a "dirty" washing machine.  Once a towel is wet, it automatically gets thrown into the washing machine and a cycle has started.  No dirty, smelly clothes or machine for that matter.  Me, on the other hand, well with 3 kids, and both my husband and I working full-time outside of the home, yes, laundry sits, and sometimes for longer than it should.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good this product works.  A product I definitely will keep stock in for our home.  I dislike any odors, especially odors in machines that are supposed to clean our clothes.

Angelicare Spider Vein Treatment System {Review}

As I get older, not only am I as a person changing, but so is my body. I used to have "sexy" legs, now, as an adult, I still have thin legs, though with markings on them, marking that I would love to disappear. Those markings are called spider veins. They are located on my one leg behind my knee. I believe these have appeared due to constantly crossing my legs, something my doctor has always told me not to do as it cuts off circulation of the blood flow. Well, now I am paying the price!

I am not at the ewww, gross, disgusting, I need to get surgery immediately stage yet, though just leaving it alone it may get worse, and I do not want that to happen.

I was able to review Angelicare Spider Vein Treatment System and at first was taken aback when the package arrived. I kinda was nervous about trying out the system, but seriously, what do I have to lose right? I already have the nasty spider veins, here, for my review, is a solution.

Guess what - it works, now it takes time, but the purple is slowly going away. Not completely going away, I should re-word that, but this product really does work.

I am no scientist and really have not looked into how spider veins start, though I am assuming it is through non-stimulation. With this product, the constant stimulation to the problamatic area, it is doing exactly what it says it does.

CREATIVITY FOR KIDS: Do Art Pottery Studio {Review and GIVEAWAY}

 My Review

Tablecloth - check, Pottery wheel - check, Clay - check - let's begin making some pottery!



Kylie & Emma both got a "ball" size of clay to start with.  Kylie wanted to make a "dish" for her dad and Emma wanted to make a doggie (go figure).  Anyhoot, we started with Kylie's dish.  She made her clay into a ball and pressed her thumb in the center, thereafter putting on the pottery machine to start molding her dish.  (I think both girls loved this part the best).  

See the black wire coming out of the pottery maker?  That is connected to device that allows you to step on and make the pottery wheel turn.  Kylie kept the clay moist with a little dab of water, and with each spin, having her thumb on the clay, she allowed the dish to form.  We then let dry overnight.



This is Emma's creation.  She also started with a ball of clay and divided into 2 pieces.  From that she took a larger part and made the body.  Then, she made another ball, though smaller in size for the head.  We put the two together and added a little water so they would stick.  We then took little pieces of clay and added feet, ears a nose and a long tail.  We then let dry overnight.

 The next day, both girls immediately wanted to paint right away, though because the clay was so thick (at least for the dog), I wanted them to wait until night to paint - just to give that extra time to dry.

Kylie made daddy a bowl to put his wedding ring when he is not wearing it.  He loves that she made this for him.



Emma made a dog, which has since lost an ear, though daddy still loves his gift.


Both girls painted their objects as can be seen from the picture and were given to daddy for his birthday.

Nothing is more precious than hand made gifts from our kids.  Both, Kylie and Emma, really loved making these objects from pottery - it brought hours of fun.  PLUS, Danny loved receiving the handmade products and I loved helping the girls make them.  Precious family time spent together, making, learning, creating and having fun.  What more could a parent ask?  The ages do say 8 - ???, however, with Emma only being 3 1/2, she loved playing with the clay, using the pottery wheel, making her doggie and painting it.  Even though she is not at the age requirement, with a parent (me) being there to help, it was a great product for her.  They both loved this.

I would highly recommend this product - it brought hours of fun to my girls.  We, as a family, enjoyed this product.

KT TUNSTALL: TIGER SUIT {Music Review}

Oh the genras of music.  Growing up, I truly only liked one type of music - Heavy Metal.  Yes, I was that crazy rock-n-roll chick who head banged and went to lots of concerts (can't picture it, can you?)

Now, as a mom of 3, a wife, and aged (still young though I might add), I still like heavy metal music, though I like a wider assortment. 

I was given an opportunity to review KT Tunstall's new cd:  Tiger Suit.  While I have heard of KT Tunstall before, I truly never continuously listened to her music, until now.  This album is amazing.  Her voice, the ballads, very relaxing, yet edgy (is that possible, yes, yes it is!).   This is now an album I listen to over and over in the car,together with my girls liking a few of their songs too.

October is probably one of my favorite months for a number of reasons:  1) my birthday month; 2) my daughter Emma's birthday month and 3) Halloween.  Every year since my daughter, Emma, was born, because her birthday is so close to Halloween, we have a Halloween themed "costume" party for her.  I love anything and everything Halloween, so when I was given the opportunity to review Python Printables for Halloween and Fall themed printable, I was at complete excitement. What kid does not like to color, or do puzzles, or games?  I know for me, still as an adult, I love all of it.

I obtained the link from a representative at Python and quickly added a ream of paper into my printer as I knew each and every kid that was coming to Emma's Halloween birthday party was going home with a complete spiral-bound activity set. I had to limit the pages to print as there were so many different activities to choose from. As I was printing the pages, Emma kept taking the sheets off the printer, wanting to color right away.  I kept telling her that these were for her party - she was very happy and said that her friends were going to love them.

I love to use reusable, washable cloths for cleaning my house, so when I was given the opportunity to review SKOY cloth, I jumped at the chance.

My Review
I received a 4 pack of brightly colored, thick, pretty flower design, Skoy Cloths in the mail and immediately had to wipe up a spill in the kitchen.  The quality of these cloths are sturdy and can withstand any spill or scrubbing you have in mind.  My daughter spilled an entire 16 oz container of juice all over our kitchen table.  I quickly grabbed a Skoy Cloth and to my amazement, it absorbed the entire mess, just 1 cloth.  WOW!  I am completely impressed.  I tested myself for one entire week to not use paper towels (which happen to be a staple ingredient in our house) and use only the SKOY cloth.  1 SKOY cloth can replace 15 (yes 15) rolls of paper towels.  Think of the savings, you do the math.  Not only was I amazed by this product, but so was my entire family. 

We definitely have gotten the use out of this product and love it!

I also have used the SKOY cloth to clean my shower and it withstood hard, continuous elbow scrubbing.  I even washed my car and guess what - this cloth is still in tact and still works.  It states 1 SKOY cloth is good up to 5 weeks, though I have continually washed the cloth in either the dishwasher with a full load or in the washing machine with a load of laundry and it is still in tact and works.  I love this cloth!

PIZZA NIGHT - Family Dinner Game {Review}

Every Friday night is Pizza/Game night in our house, so when I was given the opportunity to review Pizza Night: Family Dinner Game, I was excited.

Cheese, Pepperoni and Buffalo Chicken were the pizzas tonight.  The table was ready and the family was there - we were ready to play.

She is very responsive and a quick turnaround from ordering to receiving.  I am more than pleased with the turnout of Molly's tag.  I would highly recommend her craftsmanship on any of her items in her Etsy shop, PeaKazzo's Emporium.  Working with Pamela gave me a sense at ease.  She truly loves the work she does and it shows on her items.
