I LOVE Christmas and everything about it. It’s about family coming together and celebrating the birth of Jesus. I love decorating my home, going out with my family every year to pick our Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving and the beginning of December, going with hot cocoa in hand to cut it down. Another huge thing for me to do is share our year of activities with our friends and family through Christmas Cards. I am a huge proponent and fan of sending cards. With the internet being as huge as it is, I still feel the time you take to prepare a card and send to someone has more meaning than sending a “happy holiday email” to someone.
I am no different as I LOVE to receive holiday cards from our friends and family, especially those who live far away. I love seeing pictures of their family and reading the notes inside the cards and sharing those with my family.
Our holiday cards are displayed on our pantry door in the kitchen for everyone to see. We celebrate Christmas Eve in our house having our family and friends over, and where we display the cards, they are enjoyed by everyone. Where do you display your cards??
Have you ever heard of Tiny Prints??? For 2 years now I have prepared and ordered our Christmas cards through Tiny Prints and have been extremely pleased to say the least with their product. This year is no different.
This is the card we ordered last year through Tiny Prints and not only did we love it, but so did everyone on our holiday list, both far and near. I was able to show pictures of my family throughout the year on the card and have a note written on the inside of blessings passed on to all. The ease of making the card, to finalizing it, then ordering was easy. The software on the site walked you through the process with ease. It made it that much better to create your memories to share with all. The cards were received in prompt time too.
This year is no different with who we are ordering through, Tiny Prints all the way, though the card design will be a little different. After looking through hundreds and I mean hundreds of designs, I have it narrowed down to one. That one is the Tri-Fold Holiday Card. I love it and will love my 3 childrens pictures making the card up for everyone to enjoy. This is a front and back side card which will allow pictures on both sides. I love uploading pictures of my family for all to share and especially love a more personable holiday card. It is worth the .44 cents to send to everyone just one time a year.
Calling all Blogging Buddies: If you have your own blog and are interested in checking out Tiny Prints for your holiday cards, and partake in this blogging campaign, visit Tiny Prints Holiday Card Campaign and fill out the form.
Disclosure: Through my participation in the Tiny Prints Holiday Card Campaign, I will receive 50 cards of my choosing for free. In no way receiving these cards did it entice me to write a favorable review. I have received these cards before and the craftsmanship is amazing. If I did not work with Tiny Prints on this campaign, I would definitely order through their site.

Tiny Prints: Mother's Day Campaign
How are you rewarded for being a Mom? I am rewarded every single day when I wake up to my beautiful three children and blessed throughout the day, each and every day, through the trials and errors of the choices I need to make as being a Mom. No one ever told me that being a Mom would be the most challenging, demanding, lack of sleep job, non compensating, endless hours job I would have. Thank goodness someone out there, whomever it may be, gave us our own special day, Mother's Day, as we deserve it! Each and everyone of us.
I was given the question, "what do your kids think make you awesome", or through my kids mouth, "what makes mommy awesome"?
I want to say because I am the best MOM in the world and regardless of if I don't let them do something, or take something away, or say "no", when they want something, or have to be tough at times, that the decisions I make are decisions that I feel at that time are the best decisions I can give. I want to believe they will say I am awesome because I am fun, and love to spend time with them, making crafts with them, coaching them in baseball, reading them bed time stories, are always there for them in the middle of the night when they have a nightmare, or develop a fever, or are just afraid to sleep by themselves. I also want to think they would say because I ride bikes with them, love to shop with them (many toy store runs), teach them how to cook, take them to the park, or have picnics in our backyard. However, I thought that question would be best answered by my three kids:
Brendan's response: because she is understanding and listens to what I say and want, has fun and helps me when I need it.... (age 18)
Kylie's response: because she always take care of me and stuff... (age 8)
Emma's response: because I like everything she does... (age 4)
So, how would your kids answer the above question? It's something I am glad I asked my kids. As a MOM, you automatically believe your the best in your kids eyes; however, to actually get their answer, is quite touching.

HELP STOP "BUZZED" DRIVING
Did you know that in 2008, just over the Labor Day holiday weekend, 194 people were killed in crashes involving an impaired driver?
This Labor Day, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ad Council are trying to remind people to plan ahead and designate a sober driver for any Labor Day celebration because "Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving."
Even if you have had just one drink and think you are fine, please do not get behind the wheel - instead, get a designated driver, or call a cab. The price for a cab ride is significantly less than the price of either a DWI or someones life. Before you even leave the house for that party you are attending, decide who will be drinking (if at all), and who will be driving. Please do not let them be the same person. You are not only endangering your life but the lives of many, many others.
Alternative Ride Locator - Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving has created a new Facebook tab with a nationwide list of alternative ride programs. Please check them out today and before you decide to leave for that party.
Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving website- Here you can sign a pledge not to drink and drive, play "Spot the Difference," an interactive game that simulates the effects of buzzed driving , and watch a real-life video about how buzzed driving changed one woman's life.
Thank you in advance for your help! This Labor Day, let's work together to put an end to buzzed driving. Don't ruin your summers with a drunk driving arrest. Please designate a sober driver before you begin celebrating. Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving.
And remember, celebrate, but celebrate smart - get a designated driver now.

Designated Driver Drink List - One of the most important things you can do before you go out is to designate a sober driver. If you're throwing a party, make sure to offer up non-alcoholic drinks for the sober drivers in your group. Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving has compiled a Facebook tab with 50 non-alcoholic party drink recipes right here.

PEPPERIDGE FARM: Strawberry Milano - Savoring the Sweetness of Life
Ahh, the love of chocolate... Ahh, the love of strawberries. Combined - absolutely, just as good (if not better)! Yes, you read right. Milano’s newest cookie - Strawberry Milano cookies. Oh how I love thee chocolate, and moreso, love strawberries - combined in a cookie form, even better. I can just picture the flavor - a outer cookie shell with rich dark chocolate and scrumptious strawberry in the middle - every bite bursting with the combined flavor of chocolate and strawberry. (Boy, can I go for a Strawberry Milano cookie now!)
I have always enjoyed Milano cookies, growing up as a child and now as an adult. My favorite has been the Double Chocolate Milano cookie. Actually, to this day, there is not a Milano brand coolie that I do not like or have ever turned my nose up to try a new flavor.
I have yet to try the Strawberry Milano cookie, however, with this $1.00 coupon, I will be picking up a bag to enjoy with the family. Actually, my son is leaving for college next Friday (can you see my eyes starting to well up now) and since he too loves Milano cookies, I will pack him a bag in his care package of goodies. Once he opens his care package up, I am sure he will be overjoyed as he will have a little of home with him.

Eating Milano cookies is like savoring the sweetness of life. This past summer I savored the sweetness too many times to count, though my biggest moment was watching my son walk across the stage and graduate with his classmates from high school. Believe me, I have always prayed for this day to come and knew it would, I guess it was the anxiety leading up to it. You see, my son is a straight A student, and I believe he fell into “Senioritis” during his Senior year (as I am sure others do). My son has developed, through his love of sports, a cracked spine. With many doctors appointments, surgery, missed school days, I was very hopeful to see him graduate - and guess what? I did! Seeing him walk across that stage, proudly, grinning from ear to ear, an accomplishment, one of many more to come in his future. That moment is how I savored the sweetness of life this summer. How did you savor yours???
Disclosure: I participated in a campaign through One2One Network. The opinions and words written above are my own. By writing this post, I will be entered to win a gift card.
