Python Printable Christmas Mega Games Pack {Review}

I love the holidays and everything about them. From outdoor decorations to indoor decorations, to baking cookies, to wrapping presents to activities. I received printable Python Printables Christmas Mega Pack to review and was in my glory. The various printable are amazing, there are over 70 to be exact, from Christmas games like Easy Christmas Trivia, Crazy Christmas Drawing Game, Funny Christmas Songs Mad Libs, Christmas Dinner Spot the Difference, to New Years printables of the same assortment. 

We celebrate Christmas Eve with my husband's family and Christmas day with my family.  In both families there are a lot of kids.  These games are going to be a huge hit for Christmas this year.  Not only will the kids have a blast, but the adults will too.

TIS THE SEASON 2010: HOLIDAY CARDS with SHUTTERFLY

Do you put much thought into holiday cards? Do you send the basic boxed cards or do you order picture cards through an online site??? Do you even send holiday cards???

I love not only sending, but receiving cards. My favorite holiday cards are Christmas. Christmas is such a huge holiday for our family that having cards made of our children to send to our friends and family, both far and near, is a must. I love not only creating beautiful holiday cards, I also love receiving beautiful cards, whether they are picture cards or the basic holiday cards. That is an added addition to our Christmas decorating in our house. We have our kitchen pantry door which is always a festive site for all to see.

I have searched the Shutterfly site and not only are the cards beautiful, the ease of creating them is just that - simple. There is a wide range of cards at Shutterfly from Christmas-Holiday cards to Holiday-Story cards to Religious cards  to even Business Holiday cards.  There is something for everyone.  They even offer Christmas Gift Tags.  What a great addition that would be to someone specials gift.  There are so many different designs to choose from, though I am sure once I pick the pictures of my family the card will jump right out at me. This happens to be my favorite, because not only will it have my kids pictures on it (not my kids picured above), but it will have our family top 10 list of the top things that have happened to our family in 2010.  Pictures and a story - how awesome!

Make Your Own ADVENT Calendar

I know Christmas is over this year, though my friend, Alicia, just told me about something she read and I thought it was such a great idea, I wanted to share with everyone, as this is something I will be planning on doing next year with the kids. It is never too late to plan, right??

Ok, so if you have any Christmas books, put them away until next year (with your Christmas stuff of course so you don’t forget!). Most of us start decorating after Thanksgiving, so when pulling out your packed away “children” Christmas books, individually wrap each of them and put them in a basket.

Starting December 1st, and every night thereafter until December 24th, have your child(ren) pick one wrapped book out of the basket (if more than one child, have them alternate picking nights). Each night sit with your child(ren) and read that book. What an amazing advent! Each year thereafter do the same thing, no need to purchase new books, read the same ones over and over. How amazing is this? Spending time with your child(ren) reading Christmas stories. This is memory making, and something your child(ren) will always remember doing with you.

No matter how old your child is, it is never too late to read with them.

I need to go through my girls books to see what Christmas stories we have, though I know I will be going to Borders at some point this week to pick up a few extra. If you don’t have 24 books, now is the time to pick up some books for cheap (Borders has 50-75% off now).
