Do you dislike paying money for Greeting Cards when for the most part they are just thrown away?? There is a great website for free-printable Greeting Cards, it is http://www.fisher-price.com/us/printcards/. The best gifts to me are handmade, if you have kids, this is the perfect site for you. Cards such as "Birthday", "Thank You", "Feel Better", "Just Because" and more importantly "Holidays", to name a few. Click on the category you want, it will show you a few cards, click on the card you want and walla - print it out (you can print as many as you want of 1 or all). Bring it home and have your child color and make it an artpiece. Just think of the savings!!!
To make it one step easier, if you have the time and the paper, print out a few of each, categorize them into manilla files and label them. This way when a certain holiday comes up, you only need to go to your file, pull out a card and give your child to color. What a great addition to any gift! The extra $1-$2 you would have spent on a card, you can add to the present!
If you choose not to do this and still want to save money, have your child make a card out of a white sheet of paper. Let them draw something, than sign their name. How personable and cute is that???
