As stated in a prior blog, BJ's Wholesale Club is the only club that not only offers their own BJ's manufacturer coupons as a membership benefit, but they also accept manufacturer coupons you would receive in the mail or in Sunday's newspapers which can be combined together. Yes, you heard correctly - combined. Here is an example (and this is only an example as I am not 100% sure they sell Lipton noodles). Lipton noodles sold as a set of 6 separate boxes packaged together. You have 3 - $1.00 coupons off the purchase of 2 boxes. You can use 3 $1.00 coupons (so that is $3.00 off), plus, if BJ's has their own manufacturer coupon, you can combine that with the 3 coupons to really rack up savings! Toothpaste - same thing, etc., etc., etc. Combine coupons and savings.
If right now the $45 is not accounted for in your budget, split the cost with a family member or a close friend. You both will benefit from the savings.
Gas also is another HUGE savings. At least .10 - .15 cents cheaper than anywhere!
Or, if you feel because you may have a small family and "bulk" shopping is not for you, try shopping with another family, i.e., friend or family member. Plan a night to go shopping with a friend or family member, before going, figure out what products you need, see what coupons you have to help with your savings, and split not only the products purchased, but the cost too.
Now remember, once you walk in the door of BJ's there is a rack of coupons, so be sure to grab a few - there is no limit to your savings - so stock up!
Also, if your new to BJ's or other clubs, you may want to bring your own bags, as they do not provide. When walking around BJ's, you can always scoop up some empty boxes for packing when checking out. An easy alternative is if you are living "green" and have your own recylced, washable bags for shopping. I love them!
